For this week’s YouTube Political Rant of the Week, we’re going to take a break from Obama haters. The President is always an easy target, and believe us when we say that there’s never going to be a shortage of Obama rant videos. So instead, we dug up this video of a guy ranting about Massachusetts Congressman Barney Frank, who’s been in the news lately for among other things, refusing to argue with a dining room table.
Okay, nobody is asking you to wear a suit and tie if you’re making a video calling a public official a bumbling idiot, but you can at least not look like an idiot yourself. Here’s some helpful tips:
1. Even if you’re in your thirties and you still live with your mom, you don’t have to shoot your rant video in the dirty ass bedroom you have had since you were five. Throw up a backdrop, or go outside where the lighting is better.
2. Slouching, sporting the same peach-fuzz ‘stache you’ve been cultivating since you were 15 and wearing a ’90s raver Dr. Seuss hat doesn’t go a long way towards lending credibility to your claims that the other person is an idiot. Appearance is everything. Sit up straight, comb your hair and look into the camera when you’re talking.
3. Lay off the drugs before you start shooting. That should be pretty self-explanatory. Smoking an entire ounce or two of weed right before you do your rant video might get you talking, but it makes you look unfocused and sort of stupid.
