When former President Bill Clinton helped rescue two journalists who strayed into North Korea, the media warned that the incident could prompt copycats. Of course, as Jon Stewart noted last night on “The Daily Show,” they probably meant copycat despots who would throw Americans in their prisons to lure Bubba into making a play for their women–or making Obama look bad. They probably never expected that copycat Democrats would try to look tough and come over to rescue any old prisoner from any old country. You say Myanmar. We say Jim Webb? Where? Who? Exactly .
