Just when we thought that the 21st century was turning out to be a bit of a bummer, something cool like this happens. Restaurant owner and genius robotic engineer Rufus Terrill has announced his candidacy for the mayor of Atlanta, running on the platform that he will use street-clearing robots of his own design to rid the city of the homeless. Finally, the future promised by so many dystopian sci-fi novels, video games and manga comic books could come true.
Okay, so the robot looks like an inverted metal trashcan with a loudspeaker on top, but that’s likely only his first step to world domination. Step 1: Build ugly black metal loudspeaker robot, Step 2: ???, Step 3: THE WORLD! Muahahahahaha!
