In any heated political debate there is usually a lot of misinformation being thrown around (mostly from the Right). The current debate over health care is no different. For the average person, it is hard to know what is fact and what is fiction. President Obama is being likened to Adolf Hitler which is causing a great deal of confusion, especially among Neo-Nazis who love Hitler but hate black people. Those poor bastards just don’t know which way is up anymore. We at Comedy.com thought we would try to clear up some of the confusion by comparing Obama and Hitler’s healthcare plans side by side and let you decide for yourself if there are any similarities.

1. End Of Life Counseling
Obama’s plan covers end of life counseling for seniors to let them know their health care options and to help them write a living will if they choose. This is the clause that has been intentionally misinterpreted by the Right as a “death panel” that will force euthanasia as a way to cut costs.

Hitler’s plan offers free gas chamber therapy for Jews, gypsies, gays and mentally retarded people. Quite comprehensive!

2. Coverage For Veterans
Obama’s plan expands coverage to 500,000 additional veterans who are denied coverage under the current VA plan.

Hitler’s plan sends wounded soldiers off to the Russian Front for a little rest and relaxation. Looks lovely!

3. Coverage For Americans
Obama’s plan provides health care coverage to millions of uninsured Americans.

Hitler’s plan sends millions to full service health spas completely free of charge.

4. Children’s Benefits
Obama’s plan encourages preventive medicine by instilling good habits of exercise and healthy eating in children.

Hitler’s plan involves mandatory enrollment in the Hitler Youth and endorses group exercise programs like the invasion of Poland.

Wow this was tough call, but after a thorough review we’ve determined that Obama and Hitler are quite different. We’re also curious as to why Washington lobbyists, hired by insurance companies, even made the ridiculous comparison in the first place.
