Zombie Mobs: New Spokemen For A New Election Cycle

Friday August 7, 2009 10:52 AM

Recently, the DNC came out with an attack ad called “Enough of the Mob” that calls out the Republican tactic of paying staffers, lobbyists and other GOP insiders to gather together in seemingly organic grassroot mobs to scream, squeal and carry crazy signs to try and influence the democratic process. The ad was surprisingly ballsy for the Democratic Party, who (in our opinion) seem to have an impressive history of being more or less spineless against the often fervent and outspoken Republicans. But while “Enough of the Mob” was a bold step for the Democratic Party, we feel that it perhaps didn’t go far enough. If they really want to play ball with the GOP on the south side of Crazytown, they’ve gotta play ball like the Republicans play ball. So here, using footage from the Troma classic film “Redneck Zombies,” we’ve redone the “Mob” advertisement to get across what the DNC really wanted to say.
