Stephen Colbert had something to say about President Obama’s “beer summit” bringing together Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. and the Cambridge, Mass., police officer who arrested him in his own home. Oh, this should be good. Right? Nope. Turns out they even screwed this up! They couldn’t find one beer that wasn’t owned by a foreign country???
“Nothing says unity like three men sitting down together and insisting on three different brands of beer,” Colbert noted. Done. And then there’s that old adage, liquor before beer, never fear? So why didn’t they just drink liquor? Or could they not find any American whiskey?!
