Colbert Report In A Word: Noncensus

“If you count everybody, then what do you do with the people you don’t want to count?”

The 2010 U.S. Census is right around the corner — it seems like we just did this 10 years ago, because we did. We’re always Censusing people. Literally. We have been Censusing people for centuries before we even learned how to Google people. Why don’t we just Google everyone now? Good question. But that’s a question for another day. Today, my friends, Stephen Colbert has a different idea. And he explained it last night on The Colbert Report with another edition of “The Word.” The word is: Noncensus.
