And you thought George W. Bush had made everything all “Mission Accomplished.” But for his first “Word” from Iraq, Colbert told the Army troops in the late Saddam Hussein’s palace that someone needed to declare victory in the war in Iraq.
Who could be that bold? Colbert, of course. Word.
After all, Colbert already had his own POW to help around the office. That’s a win, right? And he shaved his head.
