William Henry Harrison’s First 100 Days

Too soon? It’s been 168 years.

Anyway, you probably know the story. William Henry Harrison was the 9th President of the United States. He took his oath of office on a cold, rainy day without a coat or hat and delivered the longest inaugural address in American history. It took him about two hours to read. Then he went on a parade through Washington. He caught a cold, it worsened and then he died about a month later. The doctors tried old timey cures that only made him worse. His 100 day report car was probably littered with a lot of ‘incomplete’s.’
