CNBC’s Jim Cramer has been in a battle of words with comedian Jon Stewart of The Daily Show. Luckily for everyone, Cramer will be Stewart’s guest tonight on the show. Will it be a Tucker Carlson-style beatdown? Well, Cramer went on Martha Stewart’s show this morning and said he was a little nervous. “You should be nervous,” was Martha’s answer, “He’s fast as lightning.” Martha even praised Jon Stewart more for reaching an audience that historically doesn’t care about the news. Cramer said that’s also what he tries to do. “[E]arly on I patterned my show off of his, which is that you can do an entertainment business show. And then to be suddenly attacked by a guy that’s your idol makes it difficult.” But then Cramer said something about not being a doormat and how he wasn’t going to sit there and take Jon Stewart’s beating. Oh boy! This could be a real letdown, but it could also be amazing. We’ll see.
