Ted Kennedy is going to receive an honorary British knighthood from the Queen. He doesn’t get to call himself ‘Sir’ like Elton John does, but he’ll be joining other American honorees like Stephen Spielberg, Bill Gates and Rudy Giuliani. That sounds like the worst knight army ever.
The Knighthood is being awarded for Kennedy’s peace efforts in Northern Ireland. It is unconfirmed as to whether Kennedy is also being awarded for “never dying”, an honor Queen Elizabeth II also has, much to the dismay of Prince Charles.
