The Republican Rapper: Hates Obama, Loves Camouflage

Saturday February 28, 2009 4:09 PM

This GOP hip-hop movement keeps gaining steam. Meet Hi-Caliber, the conservative rapper. He was supposedly so influenced by one of Gangsta Michael Steele’s speeches, that he decided to become Mr. Conservative. Veto Corleone went to Hi-Caliber’s MySpace page and decided to give six tracks a listen. Is it any good? Come on. Go ahead and read this book by its cover.

Have you ever wondered what it would it be like if Everlast from House of Pain had a lobotomy and only spoke in cliches about Conservatism? Yeah, it sounds a little like that. We’d make fun of the fact that he rhymes “What’s up with the Board of Education?” with “Kids are bored, they’re not gettin’ education”, but as Hi-Cal states at the beginning of the song, he didn’t write this rhyme. “Y’all wrote this rhyme.”

By the way, we’ll never forgive y’all for writin’ that rhyme.
