Did you watch Matt Lauer’s interview with Barack Obama before the Super Bowl? It’s been taken down almost everywhere, but we got a few things out of it.
1) Obama’s BlackBerry can turn into a car.
2) Obama correctly predicted what would happen in the Super Bowl.
3) Obama shut everyone up about Jessica Simpson’s weight issues.
We should care the least about the third, but it’s still pretty funny. Ashlee Simson was defending her hungry older sister last week by saying, “A week after the inauguration and with such a feeling of hope in the air for our country, I find it completely embarrassing and belittling to all women to read about a woman’s weight or figure as a headline.”
Then Matt Lauer held up an US Weekly to show Obama he’d been replaced on the cover by Jessica Simpson. That’s when Obama said, “Who is in a weight battle, apparently.”
Yes. Everyone can relax. The President’s ‘To Do List’ is kinda full with more important shit right now. Not that hard-hitting journalist, Matt Lauer, cares.
