Malia and Sasha Obama are big stars now. Last week, they partied with the Jonas Brothers, their Inauguration clothes crashed J Crew’s website, and they inspired their own Beanie Babies. Well, sort of. Ty Inc. (the makers of Beanie Babies) said that it was just a coincidence that “Sweet Sasha” and “Marvelous Malia” had the same names as the First Daughters. Right. We’re not buying it and either is Michelle Obama. Michelle’s spokeswoman recently came out and said capitalizing on the First Daughters was “inappropriate.”
Guess that means it’s inappropriate for us to sell our “Malia: Countdown to July 4th, 2016″ shirts to commemorate her 18th (and legal) birthday.
