Today, we thought we saw a mutual snub by Bill Clinton and Jimmy Carter during the pre-Inauguration processions. Then we remembered the recent photo with Obama and the living ex-Presidents, where the two men are not looking comfortable standing next to one another…
The two men have apparently not been on speaking terms since 1980. Clinton blamed Carter for his loss of the Arkansas governorship that year. Then Carter was harsh on Clinton during the Monica Lewinsky scandal a couple decades later. Apparently the feud continues.
Come on, guys. You’ve seen Karate Kid II. We need a tree to fall on Jimmy Carter so Bill can chop it off and save his life. Then all will be resolved.
